The syringe can gently push the rest of the liquid through the feeding tube. Alternatively, the feeding pump tubing is connected to the • patient's end of the feeding tube using the Nu valve system.

The new proposed valve has the same function as the old valve but has a new check valve on top to have quicker, cleaner, and easier access to the patient.


Turning the valve 90° will give direct access to the patient’s feeding tube.

Lifting up the finger pull of the top port opens the device's check valve. Uninterrupted access to the patient can now be safely used.
